Miss . Nipa. R. Patel has completed B.A. ( ECO -COM ) Jai Hind college. She has then done her Diploma in French Language from(Alliance Française of Paris) . She has successfully completed her Diploma in French(Allliance Francaise de Paris) after which she has her Diploma Superieur in Literature from (Alliance Francaise of Paris). She has a degree in C1(Ministry of France). She is a working faculty.

Mr. Parraysh Chheda has done his Master's in Physical Education (M.P.ED) from University Of Mumbai. He has 10 years of experience in coaching and teaching various major and minor games/sports activities including combat sport like Judo. His previous stint was with Navy Children School that won the inter-school football tournaments under his coaching.

Vidhya Bhaskar is the IB Coordinator of B.D.Somani International School since July 2007. She has previous experience of teaching IB Economics and IB Business Management at The International School Bangalore and at Ecole Mondiale World School.
She is a post graduate in Economics from Mumbai University.
She has undergone training in IBDP Economics (Singapore), IBDP Business Management (Mumbai) and IB Coordinator (Singapore).

She has introduced Model United Nations (MUN) as an after school activity and has guided and lead student delegates to successful MUN conference in Istanbul, Cairo and Jordan. She has initiated inter school MUN conferences every year at School.

Mr. Cox has taught for 22 years in international schools and has 16 years experience of teaching I.B.
He began his teaching career at Bexhill Grammar School in East Sussex, which later became a Sixth Form College. During his 14 years there he became Head of the Social Sciences Dept. and taught ‘A’ and ‘O’ Levels in Economics, Politics, Law and Business Studies.
He has been Head of Economics at Hillcrest Secondary School in Nairobi, Kenya. It was in Kenya, among other things, that Mr. Cox climbed Mount Kenya, learned to scuba dive and even played football at the national stadium.
Six years later he was employed at the Antwerp International School in Belgium. And it was here, after 20 years of ‘A’ Levels that he began to teach I.B. Economics, as well as some I.G.S.C.E. He attended several I.B. Workshops and eventually became an I.B. Examiner. He also became Head of Humanities.
In 2006, waiting to see more of the world, Mr. Cox moved on to The United Nations International School in Hanoi, Vietnam where he continued to offer I.B. Economics, but was also introduced to the M.Y.P. in the I.B. Programme. Mr. Cox joined B. D. Somani International School in July 2008.

Ms. Renu Kapoor is a double postgraduate in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai with a Diploma in Higher Education. She has been awarded many merit scholarships for her outstanding performance at the graduate and postgraduate levels. Ms. Kapoor has taught undergraduate courses in Chemistry for over twenty years in various colleges of Mumbai. She has also been involved in running Community Service programmes in her previous institutions and has conducted examinations for the University of Mumbai.
Ms. Kapoor began teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the IGCSE educational programme in 2004 when she joined the Ecole Mondiale World School. She has attended international educational workshops in Chemistry and Theory of knowledge and teaches these subjects in addition to co-ordinating the IGCSE programme.

Dr Meghna Dixit holds a Ph.D. in Drugs Synthesis. She has been associated with B.D. Somani International School for the past two and a half years. She teaches Chemistry (Higher Level and Standard Level) and Theory of Knowledge to students pursuing the IB Diploma program and chemistry to students of the IGCSE program.
She has participated on behalf of the School in the IB Chemistry Level 1 workshop held in Malaysiya and IB Chemistry Level 2 workshop held in Mumbai. She has also participated in a Theory of Knowledge workshop Level 1 at Delhi and is thoroughly well versed with the requirements of the IB Diploma and IGCSE programs.
Dr Meghna brings along with her a rich academic and industry experience. Prior to joining B. D. Somani she was working as a professor and was a guide and a coach to students pursuing the B.Sc and M.Sc. programs. Dr Meghna was working as a Research Scientist in the areas of Drugs and Pharmaceuticals before she decided to contribute through the academic medium. She is a well rounded personality with a very keen interest in Art and Indian Folk culture and has represented India on numerous occasions in SAARC and other International Cultural forums.

Bernadette Vaz, is an M.Sc (Statistics), B.Sc ( Mathematics & Statistics) and B.Ed (Mathematics/Science) from Bombay University. She has a cumulative work experience of 16 years in teaching.
She has taught Mathematics at Cathedral and John Connon Senior School, Mumbai.

Mr. Singh has an M.A and a B.Ed. degree from Mumbai. He began his teaching career in a boarding school in Navi Mumbai. He was there for ten years. There he started a programme called International Award for Young People, literary known as Duke of Edinburgh Award. He has been awarded a recognition certificate by the Duke of Edinburgh Award. He is presently handling IB Hindi HL, SL and IGCSE programme.
He has recently attended Language B Hindi IGCSE workshop in Ahemdabad. He also attended IB Hindi workshop in Mumbai. He has started the IAYP programme in the school.

Dr Rakesha Chaturvedi has completed a Masters in Modern History from the University of Allahabad and was awarded the Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lecturership Award by the UGC, India. She is a Phd in Modern History.
She taught Undergraduate classes in the University of Allahabad and for a year was the Visiting Lecturer in the SNDT University, Mumbai, where she taught Twentieth Century World History and History of the Contemporary World.
Dr Rakesha was a Senior Level Teacher of History and Civics in the Bombay International School before joining BD Somani IB School. She has attended the IB Workshop,History [level 1]at Banglore and the TOK Workshop in Delhi.

Ms. Nehal Chheda completed her Masters in English Literature from SNDT University and her B.Ed from St Xavier’s Institute of Education.
Ms. Nehal has attended the IGCSE English Language workshop in Delhi and an IB Level 1 workshop in Mumbai & Level 2 workshop in Thailand.
She has taught English at the Junior College at Ruia College, Matunga. She also worked as a part-time English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher with Yashawantrao ChauhanMaharashtra Open University (YCMOU). She has trained young adults for GRE, CAT and CET at Vidyalankar Institute, Dadar and taught technical writing at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology.
Ms. Nehal is also a professional photographer. She has studied photography from Sir J. J School of Art. Moreover, She is a diploma holder in Bakery and Confectionery from Hospitality Training Institute.

Mrs. Kousiki Sridharan, is a post graduate in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) Madras. She also holds a degree in Education. She was also a recipient of a Merit Scholarship from I.I.T. (Madras). She has experience of teaching A.P.Calculus (both AB and BC levels).
In B.D.Somani International School, she is teaching Maths HL and Maths SL in the I.B. curriculum along with A. P. Calculus. She has attended Asia Pacific Regional wokshops for both DP Maths SL and DP Maths HL. She also prepares students for SAT (Maths) Examination.

Ms. Savithri Ganesan teaches Math, Additional Math and Physics to the students of the IGCSE and Math to the students of the IB Diploma courses. She has 15 years of experience in the field of teaching under the National, ICSE and IGCSE curriculums.
She completed her Bachelors in Mathematics from Madras University, her B.Ed from St. Xavier’s Institute of Education, Mumbai and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management of Education from Mumbai University. She is also a qualified Early Child Care Educator from University of Massachusetts, U.S.A.

Ms. Sananda is a graduate of Political Science from St.Xavier's college, Mumbai. Her journey in the Theatre began in school and continued through college. In the process, she has gained rigorous work experience and training in various aspects relating to the stage. Her specializations are technical theatre and performance. She is also trained in 'Odissi ' a form of Indian classical dance. She began teaching drama at the primary level which she still continues to do while teaching IB diploma Theatre Arts.

Mr. Rasik is a commerce graduate of Osmania University and a post graduate diploma holder of Computer Science from National Computing Centre UK. He holds Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Management  from Datamatics , a government commercial diploma from Mumbai University. He has lectured Management and Information Technology subjects for BScIT, BBA, MBA, MCA and MScIT at the study centre of Sikkim Manipal University. He has over eighteen years of experience in the field of teaching, software curriculum expertise in development, training and coordinating the information technology section of the schools.

Arwa Kheriwala completed her BA and BED in France. She is qualified to teach French as a foreign language.
She taught in a school in Madagascar for three years, then came to India. Since then, She has been teaching at the Alliance for the last 20 years. She completed an IB workshop in Singapore for ab initio French. Apart from that, I have attended many workshops in France and India. At present, I am teaching ab initio French in the school and businesse French as well as advanced level French at Alliance.
She is studying for a diploma in teaching professional French from the CCIP Paris.

Ms. Reshma has completed her B.ED from University of Mumbai.She has done her Masters in Commerce from Mumbai University and graduated from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. She has completed a diploma in computer programming and in graphics and animation from Aptech Institute of computer education.
She has been actively involved in social service activities and has been the Chairman of Aga Khan Social Welfare Board for South Bombay. She is now involved in working for better quality of life for the senior citizens and social awareness campaigns.

Mr. Sanjay has M.A in Economics, B.Ed from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and M.Phil from Madurai Kamaraj University. He started as a Lecturer in Calcutta University and then later, Head of Commerce, at a boys Residential School, near Mumbai.He has participated in various seminars and workshops and was a coordinator for a Financial Markets Management course conducted by CBSE, NSE and BIFM- together.
He writes articles about mutual funds. Mr. Sanjay is one of the life members of Indian Economics Association.

Ms. Zeba has done her B.A. from Bombay University and a Diploma in Commercial Art from Nirmala Niketan College. After which she pursued her M.A. in Advertising and Public Relations from Madurai Kamraj University.She has been successfully accredited as a Moderator by CIE for Art and Design Course work. She has undergone training in IGCSE Art and Design. (Dubai) and IBDP Visual Art. (Singapore).
She has been teaching the IGCSE and A Level Syllabus in Dubai and Mumbai for eleven years. Zeba has successfully organised and held workshops and exhibitions for the students.

Ruchika Kapoor has done her B.Sc in Biology and Chemistry. M.Phil and Ph.D in Zoology. She has had a wide exposure of five different universities of India including Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjabi University Punjab, Andhra university, Mumbai university and Delhi University. She has done her B.Ed in English and Natural Sciences from Anamalai University.
She began her teaching career in Wilson college teaching B.Sc Zoology, then moved on to St. Xavier’s college Mumbai to teach B.Sc. Life Sc. She has taught B.Sc Zoology in two colleges at Delhi before joining B.D Somani International School. During these years she has attended workshops in Biochemistry , genetics and on Bioinformatics (from NIIT).
She has done IB workshop in Environmental systems and societies held at Singapore and Biology level 1 held in Mumbai in 2008.

Mrs. Namita Mehta - Masters in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from Oxford University, UK.
She joined B.D. Somani International School as the University Guidance Counselor in January 2009. Her role includes advising students on which universities to apply to and assist them through the application process. Many university representatives from universities all over the world come to visit our school, so she organize their visit and encourage students and parents to meet with them. Admission to top class Universities is getting more and more competitive every year, so she have extended her role as simply a university advisor. she also work with 8th, 9th and 10th grade students, encouraging them to get involved in exciting extracurricular activities, ranging from doing internships, summer schools as well as social work.

Mr.Arvind Dethe a well qualified and enthusiastic individual, specialized in Teaching Geography. Dedicated to provide the best education, understanding and concern attitude among the students.
