| The following age criteria will be followed for admissions in B.D. Somani International School for the year 2010-2011: |
| Reception/Nursery |
Child must be 3 years of age as of 1st of July |

| Junior Kindergarten |
Child must be 4 years of age as of 1st of July |
|
| Senior Kindergarten |
Child must be 5 years of age as of 1st of July |
|
| Grade 1 |
Child must be 6 years of age as of 1st of July |
|
| Grade 2 |
Child must be 7 years of age as of 1st of July |
|
| Grade 3 |
Child must be 8 years of age as of 1st of July |
|
| Grade 4 |
Child must be 9 years of age as of 1st of July |

| The procedure of admissions is: |

Application: |

Pick up an application form from school office from November 4th 2009 evening 6:00 PM onwards. Fee for application form is INR 2,500/- non-refundable. |

Fill in application form and submit all requested documents as per the checklist on the application form. |
| |
Deadline for submission, 16th of November 2009. |

Parent interaction sessions and Assessment: |
| |
Reception and Junior Kindergarten parents will have a parent interaction session. All applicants will be called in for an interaction session. |

Assessment for Senior Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade2 Grade 3 and Grade 4 children. All applicants will be called in for an assessment. |
| |
Parents whose children have been successful in the assessment for senior kindergarten, grade one and grade two, grade three and grade four will then have the parent interaction session. |

Admission acceptance or decline: |

Parents will be informed by the school office about the status of their application via email or mail. |

The school will not entertain any correspondence under any circumstances about the decision made regarding
the child’s admission status. |

Payment of Fee: Payment of fee in advance to reserve the student’s seat. |

The application and registration procedure does not guarantee admission |

The school will not entertain any correspondence or discussion under any circumstance regarding the applicant’s admission status. |
